Fall 2019 EEOB/BCB 546X Assignments

Your grade for this course is based on four assignments and a final project. Details for each assignment and links to files will be posted here over the course of the semester. Instructions and data files for each assignment will be added to the assignments folder in the course GitHub repository. All of the material required for grading must be submitted on the course Canvas page.

Assignment #1: Unix:

  • The UNIX Assignment is available through the course GitHub repository in the UNIX_Assignment folder (in the assignments folder).
  • The assignment is due via submission in Canvas by 5pm on September 27th

Assignment 2: R

  • The R Assignment is available through the course GitHub repository in the R_Assignment.
  • There are three deadlines for this assignment:
    • Email your url link to the GitHub (public) repository you have created by 1pm on Friday, October 18.
    • Push your review to the forked repository and submit a Pull request by 1pm on Monday, October 21.
    • Submit a link to the final version of your assignment in Canvas by 1pm on Wednesday, October 23.

Assignment 3: Data Management Plans

  • The instructions for the DMP assignment are available on the course GitHub repository in the DMP_Assignment folder (in the assignments folder).
  • The assignment is due via submission in Canvas by the end of the day on November 6, 2019

Assignment 4: Python

  • The instructions for the DMP assignment are available on the course GitHub repository in the Python_Assignment folder (in the assignments folder).
  • The assignment is due via submission in Canvas by the end of the day on November 27, 2019

Final Group Project

  • The Final Group Project is available through the course GitHub repository in the Final_Project folder (in the assignments folder).
  • The assignment is due via submission in Canvas by 5pm on December 11th
